We did not have a good start to the morning – the one who dawdles the most woke up later than everyone else (and this usually signals trouble) and then 6 year old brought out forms that needed signing, excursions that needed paying for and books that needed checking which was all meant to be done on FRIDAY. Why oh why do they leave it till Monday morning? THEN he asked why the forms are all wet. Oh bother! Adam (I suspect it is Adam as he is old and unfortunately likely suffering from chronic renal failure (and you may ask why as a vet I am saying “likely” should I not know with what EXACTLY he is inflicted?? I shall tell you all that another time) had peed on 6 year old’s school bag. His hat, communication folder were soaked. So then it was a mad mad rush to try and wash and dry everything by the time it’s time to go. DID I MENTION WE HAVE LIKE 98% HUMIDITY HERE SO NOTHING DRIES?? And husband was given the task of finding another schoolbag because there was no way a school bag could be washed and dried by the time 8:15 rolled in.
You will all be happy to note it ended well. Semidried but thankfully clean hat and communication folder, lunches and relevant forms all filled out were placed in the bag. They have 10 more minutes before it’s school time and I am finishing my lukewarm (YUCK!) cup of tea.

Do you like my new theme? I think it’s the best one ever.
