My children have got this delaying thing to a fine art

We’ve been through the whole bedroom routine after dinner:

-pyjamas
-toilet
-brush teeth
-gargle with mouthwash
-sip of water
-reading a story
-talk about the story and general chatting
-prayers
-kisses and “I love you”s
-lights out

All is quiet for about 15 minutes and then 2 year old pipes up, “WHAT ABOUT DESSERT?”
