Hmm. I have writer’s blog (ahahahahah! Notice how I’m still so funny?)
We have to move house. Our lease is expiring soon and the owners want to sell. Poor 5 year old is devastated. It was like he was going through the stages of grief when the real estate agent banged that horrible “For Sale” sign into the grass. Shock, denial, anger (“I want to bash that sign down!”). I’m not sure if we have reached the stage of acceptance. Even I’m having a hard time coming to terms with it.
We’ve been here for 5 years. Ok we don’t own the house, but it’s home to us.
I hate that uncertainty. Where will we go now? How much more rent will we have to pay? Do you think we can manage to get one of those Islamic loans? What’s a safe neighbourhood. Maybe they won’t find a buyer for the house. Can we buy it? Shall we make an offer?
Make dua everything works out and that the hassle of moving isn’t so much of a hassle. Alhamdulillah at least we know we will have a roof over our heads.
