mummyjaan - there are some days when I've forgotten whether or not I have prayed - I think we tend to get so caught up in the schedule of our lives that we forget to schedule prayer and reflection time.

susan - mashaAllah. He is a hands-on father and my sanity is intact (it's hanging by a thread so imagine what my state of mind would be if he didn't help out)

Mona and shaz - thanks. The rotis are still not ones I would serve my mother but I'm getting there.

umm-fi-ard - Tuesdays we go for swimming lessons. I decided to make this a priority - my 7 year old is not in the least bit sporty and we all could do with some exercise. He enjoys swimming and I do believe it's a great skill to have.

And no I haven't stopped with the breastfeeding! I didn't mention this but I did feed him at 4:30 in the morning. I think I've gone down to about one or two feeds a day, more if he is having a bad day and needs comfort.

My little one is also attached to me and the first week at the gym creche was hard for me and him. It helps that it's only for 45 mins to one and a bit hours so he doesn't have that much time to miss me. He loves going now and I see that he holds his own when other kids try and snatch toys from him! We really need to get together more often so I children get to know each other and us, I would love to babysit for you while you get a break.
