I am hoping this blog doesn’t turn into one where I post pictures only (because what I have to say is always so damn interesting, I’d hate for you all to miss out on my pearls of wisdom) but for now that’s all I got.
We had our kitchen redone. I feel completely spoilt with my brand new kitchen and am loving my splashback. Everytime I see it I just get so damn happy.
I hated my white sink. Ugly ugly ugly. It stained and chipped so easily and it was such an eyesore. See the hole in the counter there – that’s for my cooktop. I had been using a portable 2 burner cooktop for almost a year. I got pretty good at cooking with just the two (how many times does one use all 4 burners at a time, anyway?)
And here is the after:

I have more pics of the kitchen but that’ll do you for now. I need to keep something spare for my next post.
Currently reading: Parenting from the Inside Out by Dan Siegel
and Speaking in God’s Name by Khaled Abou El Fadl (thanks Susan – I read that one chapter ages ago but am having a go at reading it again and maybe a bit from the beginning – heavy stuff!)

Oooh…new kitchen! I love the green!
Love it!
Oh, you’re reading it!! Awesome. After that, you must read “Conference of the books” by him. It’s brilliant.
PS love the green!
Thanks everyone.
Susan, am burnt out! I don’t think it helps that I’m not reading the chapters in order. The first chapter (which is prob quite important) is too heavy so I’ve gone to chapter 6 first. Not really a wise plan. I will plod along at my snail’s pace and see how far I can go before my brain hurts.
