I forgot to mention that I will also be speaking at the seminar so stalkers please note.
I sincerely hope there is NO unauthorised, NO for-sure-it’s-safe-cos-we-got-a-letter gelatine or emulsifier 471 in those hand-made goodies. Or they would be hand-made baddies.
Just sayin’.
To be sure, they are HAND MADE goodies to avoid the gelatine and E471 in the first place. Keep up, woman!
Yes, I really must make an effort to focus on the minutiae at the expense of the important stuff
Just kidding! I’m sure all nafs at your masjid are already crushed which is why they can focus on the little stuff. MashaAllah x 1 million. By the way, how IS the women’s section at your masjid? Okay, I’ll stop it! Promise. Really am just teasing which is no doubt a reflection on my own poor yaddi yadda.
Please send home made halal delicacies this way, STAT.
OMG I served you those Monte biscuits when you were here and did NOT check e471 content is this why you won’t come again i totally blame farhad he told me to buy them tell the imam this minute.
PS Did you go to Baba Ali?
The women’s section at our masjid is very accessible. It’s big enough to accommodate all of us, there is a separate section for women on their menses and a room for mums with children (it’s a bit small though but there are actually 2 small rooms that can be used for this purpose). The doors can be completely closed but we can still hear khutbahs. We have a toilet, a baby change area and a (albeit small I admit) are for wudhu.
The speakers work really well in all sections of the women’s area. Because it’s double story building (was actually a house in a former life) and the women are downstairs, we don’t actually get to see the imam or the other men, no doubt a heinous crime on equality not to mention sunnah etc etc. but it actually works out very nicely.
We have an air conditioner, reverse cycle though it never gets so cold that we ever need the heater, alhamdulillah for Queensland weather.
There is a main entrance for both women and men and another separate women’s entrance for those who wish to walk in without encountering those horrible XY humans.
Oh and it’s very clean. A professional cleaner comes in monthly (or more often if the needs arises) to clean up all sections. And this is all in the temporary masjid while we wait for our new special one to be built.
Oh and Montes don’t have 471 which is why I ate them
Didn’t go to see Baba Ali – he’s way too hip and young for this old fogie.
