I found some left over antibiotics from a previously unfinished course (and I don’t need anyone to tell me how WRONG that is on oh so many levels, but I was desperate!) and am feeling a bit better today after one dose. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME.
After our usual rushed morning (but what is a morning at the Tasmiya household without a ridiculous sense of urgency) we set off in grand style our car toward the Strawberry Farm. I don’t have many words to add only that we all had such a great time and nobody is remotely sick of strawberries. And who knew strawberries were so plump and firm – the ones we get at the supermarket are always squished and mushy.
Edited to add: SIL and her family joined us and the company was just grand. The children played so well together in the playground attached to the farm, we picnicked on strawberries (what else?), strawberry cupcakes and coffee. The weather was blissful -not a cloud in the sky and her girls were fast asleep in the car only minutes after leaving the farm. Success!
Pics – enjoy!

The fun starts here

Berry clever!

I would like to also add that I am going to get proper prescription so I can continue with my antibiotics, just in case the antibiotic po-po are reading this.
Strawberry picking… yummy!
The sign boards are very… punny
Looks like the tour was a lot of fun!!!
(seeing as no one has said anything about the antibiotics yet, we’re dealing with a guilty conscience here, Tasmiya
)
I thought you would like the signs. I am a sucker for a good pun.
Yes, I think the guilty conscience is very loud.
What a great family outing! Gorgeous pics of the boys plus the strawberries look really yummy!
Madah – You should head out that way, too. I am sure your kids would enjoy. There are farms opening up a bit closer in August – ones on the way to the Gold Coast – much closer. The drive was just over an hour which is a fair way away. I love the pics, too – my favourite is 8 year old in that distinct model’s pose.
