Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Sir Ian Blair has been forced to outline his new anti-terror protocols after London police were labelled “prejudiced against Muslims and Arabs” by a major human rights organisation.
“Look, we are not targetting people of Middle Eastern appearance at all,” a defiant Sir Blair noted at a recent news conference. “I don’t understand where the criticism is coming from. The truth is that we are training our officers to kill everyone else. If you look nothing like a terror suspect, be warned.” Sir Blair went on to describe the events leading up to the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes on 22 July, 2005. “If he looked anything like an Arab or a Muslim, we would never have shot and killed him.”
Convicted drug dealer, Omar Khayam of Bedford welcomed the new stance. “It’s about time the pigs realised we are citizens of England and have the right to walk around dressed as suicide bombers without fear of being labelled terrorists…I mean,those guys who wake up late for work and have to run to catch their train, those are the guys we should all be worried about.”
