We’ve had the “dreaded lurgi” (as my microbiologist lecturer used to say) at our house for the past 3 weeks. The boys have all had it and I’m the lucky last. InshaAllah I will be back to blogging soon…AND AREN’T YOU ALL LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT?

Speaking of microbiology lecturers – our virology professor was a short but portly man. He walked back and forth with his arms behind his back when lecturing. Always. In. That. Same. Monotone. Voice. The. Entire. Hour…….. Bueller?…….. Bueller? Why was it that his hour lectures would drag on for what seemed like eternity? We would discuss this phenomenum on countless occasion. Students really have nothing better to do with their time you know, like study. After healthy debates, we finally deduced his stomach was a reservoir not for food but for TIME. Ever notice when you’re busy doing something you enjoy the time passes by ever so quickly? The saying “time flies when you’re having fun” was actually coined because of this man. Whenever anyone anywhere is doing something enjoyable, there is our professor SUCKING THE TIME AWAY and putting it safely away into his abdomen. He then squirts out that time from an invisible or very ingeniously disguised (we couldn’t come to a satifactory conclusion on this) tube into our virology lectures. So remember folks, everytime you are forced to think, “Where did the time go?”

It’s there.

In my old virology lecturer’s stomach.

The pilferer.
