Feisty females stress pregnant fish
We all know why these poor pregnant fish are getting so stressed out:
1. Everyone keeps asking her where the father is when they KNOW he’s locked up elsewhere. I mean do you see any men around here…do you?….do you???
2. All the non-breeders are laughing at her bloated stomach (it’s FLUID for goodness sake – we LIVE in it!) and general clumsiness and absent-mindedness.
3. Half are telling her to have the eggs naturally and the other half are telling her she’s nuts to go through all that drama when she could have them by caesarian on a day that suits her. And then the first half start arguing and so it goes back and forth and before you know it, the words “gill Nazi” and “feral fish” are flying through the water.
LOL, even fish have to go through this stuff! Last month my SIL bought us a 5-gallon aquarium and we got 3 goldfish. 2 of them died so far and 1 is left. But i have no idea if they’re male or female. Should i buy another fish to keep that last one company? I didn’t think having fish would be so much work and effort, but i’ve learning a lot about fish.
