Hands on Art – Same but Different
My ego thinks that the title of the workshop program was stolen from my “Same but Different” post but I think my ego is just being….well…..just being my ego.
Any stalkers may even get a chance to gawk at me – you lucky things! umm..that was my ego again.

Cold sores.
I hate them.
I am so paranoid that any tingly sensation on my lips causes me to go into complete hysterics. I am plastered to the mirror waiting every so patiently and watching with HORROR as the tingling becomes that horrid looking vesicle then it bursts and looks like a cornflake or rice bubble from yesterday’s breakfast that JUST WON’T COME OFF NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I TRY AND SCRAPE IT!
Except that I have never had a cold sore in my life.
My family is well aware of my phobia and to everyone’s credit, they’re really quite accomodating. They humour me knowing full well the next day there will be nary a tingle or a-twitching. Of course I will have forgotten all about it and have moved on until the next time the lip starts tingling.
