My computer passed away a few days ago. It’s all come as a great shock to all those who knew and loved him. He never showed any signs of illness and while he was known to complain every now and again when I forgot to put him to bed, for the most part he was a tireless worker.
The house hasn’t been the same since. I’m not coping very well at all. It’s been a rough couple of days. I’ve actually had to do housework and laundry for goodness sake!
Vale Computer.
Sniff

Poor computer. Is he being (gasp) replaced? I’ve missed your posts!
Inna lillahi wa inna alayhi raji’oon.
Performed an emergency Power Supply transplant late last night so the computer is back up.
Even scheduled an auto shutdown this time so the poor thing doesn\’t get a fever.
This is good news. I’m a big fan of putting the computer to sleep or shutting it down regularly. It needs to rest sometimes just the like the rest of us.
It’s a Miracle
It was dead, and now it lives again. Like the heart of one who comes to believe!
Ya Haqq!
Slms,
Haven’t commented here before, but love the blog. Keeps me entertained while I should be working
Tasmiya’s Husband (don’t you get tired of living in her shadow?):
You mean you brought a DEAD COMPUTER BACK TO LIFE WITH A TRANSPLANT?!
DSAH
Salamaat,
I am humbled to have witnessed this miracle
Keep writing chica and let the computer have her 8 hours of beauty-sleep
Thanks for the comments, guys.
Mahomed Bayaan – I hope you aren’t wasting MY TAX DOLLARS on reading this DRIVEL! Back to work!
Muslim Apple – I am always too lazy to click that “shut down” buttom. It seems as though the fan that cools the computer locked so with it running 24 hours a day for goodness knows how long, it got burnt!
Brother Irving – spoken like a true dervish
Maliha – I’ll let the computer have its 8 hours if I can get mine
