1. My one year old’s whinging is like nails on a chalkboard. There are times when I do for him not out of love but just so he will be quiet.
2. I love waking up to find all 3 of my boys asleep in my room. Sometimes in our bed, sometimes on the mattress on the floor in our bedroom and the sweetest thing…when I find them asleep on the floor halfway between their room and mine.
3. There are days when I am glad I’m not homeschooling because all three are very demanding children and I can’t keep up with their requests/demands/crying. I can’t imagine doing this AND trying to teach reading and writing and maths.
4. I’m tired of giving.
5. I have over 3 laundry baskets full of clothes that need ironing/folding and putting away and another 2 baskets full that need washing. Because there is so much I don’t want to even start so the problem just escalates. HELP!
6. I’m getting dumber by the second.
7. They are so worth it.

Salamaat,
Three boys..may God grant you strength and patience…aww at number 6, man that’s every SAHM’s mantra.
If I was closer, I would come over and we can have a laundry party…mine is building up and worse thing is my washer broke..the repairman is coming on Friday, which means we will be drowning in dirty laundry by that time…sigh.
Ditto x 7. I am SO there with you.
There is truly nothing sweeter than a sleeping child, or more demanding than one awake
Thank God for public schools. Your post made me laugh out loud and took me far back when my kids were young. Indeed, all mothers are saints (the demon only comes out when you stop to think. Good thing you are getting dumber
Ya Haqq!
oh tasmiya. did you have to bring up laundry? i’m so far behind and my baby isn’t even here yet.
waaaaaaah.
Sometimes i feel like my only one baby gives me the brain damage of 3. And through my days there are two thoughts that haunt me:
1- I don’t want more kids.
2- I want more kids!
I noticed that your youngest and my daughter are very close in age. Is he a November baby by any chance?
