1. Level 5 water restrictions means only 4 minute showers. I have contemplated on more than one occasion, going without bathing for 8 days so I can have a wonderful 30 minute shower. DON’T JUDGE ME!

2. On wash days, I pray it DOESN’T rain.

3. I am a nuisance caller and professional complainer. Well I’m pretty sure the Brisbane City Council thinks so. So far I have rung THREE times about my vegetation officer’s visit and once about some possible termite nests in the park near me. I have called when I thought there was a problem with my bill (there WASN’T, apparently). Whenever I tell the help desk person my name, he or she will always say in a knowing tone, “Oh yes….. Tasmiya….” WELL I PAY MY RATES..DON’T JUDGE ME etc etc.

4. I thought Jim Soorley was a pretty good mayor.

1. I had an asthma attack at work. Alhamdulillah I am OK now -’twas very frightening, enough to force me to regularly take my preventative medicine now. Ventolin is friends with Symbicort you see and they love each other so if you want to be friends with Ventolin then you need to make friends with Symbicort (even though he is terribly cumbersome and annoying and hassles one TWICE daily – in the morning and the evening and rinse the mouth out or one will get a fungal infection).

2. I spent a lovely weekend catching up with old friends and making new ones. My children have a hard time coming to terms with me actually having a life outside of them. I don’t mean that in a bad way as such. I mean, they are MY children of course. It’s just that any time I leave the house to do a bit of shopping on my own or go visit a friend, there are always tears and sadness. Husband however can walk out the door and they aren’t fussed in the least. It heartens me so to think they love me so much but then it annoys me at the same time.

3. I have reconnected with my oldest (not as in 90 years old, but you get my meaning) and dearest friend. She is one person I have known my whole life and with whom I can speak about anything and everything and know that there will always be understanding, respect and deep love. Thank God for the internet! She is thinking of doing some “guest posts” here on my blog. Perhaps she can be our resident Agony Aunt or she may decide to whinge and complain, much like I use the blog. Please welcome her if and when she arrives.

4. That is all.
