1. You can choose your cuts of meat and then ask the butcher to cut them up for you in whichever way you wish – cubed/diced/stir fry strips/minced. SENSATIONAL I tell you.
2. 2 year old taking a small sip of milk at the table every now and again making his mum so proud that he actually listened instead of running around with the cup of milk is in fact walking away with a mouth FULL of milk so he can proceed to SPIT IT ON THE CARPET.
3. No matter how bad or boring the weekends are, I am still not missing work in the slightest.
4. Everyone needs a break from the gym. Even me.
5. Not going to gym actually makes me tired.
6. Not long before Ramadan starts.
7. Taking 5 minutes from nagging and actually playing with the children makes the day go much more smoothly.
So what did you discover this weekend?

I love your new look! Oh, and what did I learn this weekend? Always carry a pack of tissues with you in a very accessible location, because you never know when your kid’s nose is going to explode!
and you can never own too many Spiderman action figures when you are four
I like this new look! Good stuff!
BS directed me to check out your new look… very cute! I like it!
Yes, I like the new look too.
LOL, number five, TOTALLY agreed!
You know reading this post made me realize the weekend WAS here and now i’m sad because i never realized it, lol.
Nice new look
And my granddaughter, who is 17 months, does exactly the same thing with the milk lol.
Ya Haqq!
Dahlia – I NEVER carry tissues no matter how many times I have been caught out. Bad mum! Spiderman and Batman are actually DIFFERENT people altogether and shame on the person (ie ME) who should accidentally use the wrong name when mentioning a toy.
Brainsmoke and shaz – thanks! And isn’t it just so cute how you guys follow each other around on the internets
mummyjaan – thank you
specs – you went through a weekend without knowing about it? Either you are a very busy woman or one not so busy at all.
Irving – how are you dear brother? I think tiled floors should be mandatory! Kiss your little granddaughter for me
LOL… funny!
Going shopping with a 12 soon to be 13 year old is far more traumatic than going shopping with a 2 year old!You get picked on for your fashion sense (or apparent lack thereof) and chided for being mean for buying everything they ask for.
Or rather for NOT buying everything they ask for. Typos.
Love your new look too.
Umm Ibrahim – it would be pretty rough if you were chided after buying everything they ask for! Typos – we hate them
Taiba – thanks. I made it myself
3, for sure.
