I, use, too, many, commas, in my blog posts.

So the word “wog.” I know that in some places it isn’t considered racist and some have reclaimed it. But is it ok to use this term? Is it really ok to say that Greek people are so annoying and thanks for the warning, there is a Greek that I see around sometimes and I will do my best to stay away. Is it really ok to say, well all Bengalis are lazy? Is it really ok to say Asian students are always so bloody rude and they only help their own? And is it ok to say “what is it about philipinos?”
Am I just being too sensitive? Dare I say it…is my discomfort with this a case of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS GONE MAD?!

Boys home from school. Television has been a God send. They have eaten chocolate, chocolate and lollies today. Am I a bad parent?

-Never noticed your commas.
-I don’t know what to say about the second point, except that I detest generalizations and even subtle racist hints, which is why I avoid all of those statements. Would I then be classed as politically-correct-gone-mad? Oversensitive? Dunno.
-Yes, you’re horrible. How could you let them eat chocolate, chocolate and lollies????
(*You’re ok as long as you brush their teeth well after the chocolate. Let ‘em watch some TV; how else would you ever get time for yourself?)
-Point 4: I think that, in commenting so frequently on your blog, I am driving other readers away from here!
Aahh! I wrote a long comment and it never showed up!
Will be back
