Spring Cleaning

Not of my house of course - I am far too lazy too busy for that right now.

I will be upgrading to the new version of wordpress inshaAllah because I am just so net savvy and want to keep updated and everything. Translate : I found a nice new theme but for it to work I will have to upgrade.

If you never see me again it’s because the upgrade has gone horribly wrong and all my blog posts have disappeared. Fear not..freddo fix it. (freddo = husband).

Edit: So the actual upgrade went ok but the result is awful! Categories have disappeared and other stuff is not working so well. I am tempted to “roll back” (not a euphemism for my laziness for all those not so into nerd speak) but freddo is hopefully going to fix it when he gets home from work God willing.

Dearest Sister Saha has written a beautifully honest and moving post. Go!

It’s hard I know, to make that extra effort, but if you are tired, perhaps she is literally falling apart. Perhaps that is hard to understand, you have gone through difficulties, but if there have always been other people around to help you practically, even if they annoy you, you don’t know how it is to try and cope alone, day after day.

Saha writes with such refreshing introspection, warmth and honesty.

I had so much to say about this but I can’t put it all into words. Just go.

Well life is very boring here. The children are behaving themselves - today is PJ day where we stay in our PJs ALL DAY and the children get to watch TV ALL DAY and junk food is on the menu ALL DAY. Husband is home tomorrow so luckily if there are the artificial colours and preservative and sugary after-effects, we will be 2 against 3 ie as fair a fight as we will ever get.

I believe my blogging days are coming to an end. There is so much happening in the world and I’ve cocooned myself very nicely in my surburban home with my 3.0 children and my 1.0 husband and 2.0 cats and that’s pretty much all I blog about. There is only so much of bad day with children/good day with children/successful husband-annoying tricks/ gosh I am tired/ look at me! that I can churn out and that people will wish to read. Other bloggers do it so much better.

So…

I’ll haff half!

Well 50% is a pass isn’t it? I got halfway, surely that counts for something.

See the thing about posting everyday is that the genius that is me is cut up into 30 little parts. So instead of getting a good dose of the genius every few days, one only gets a tiny morsel each time one visits.

I could not do it to you poor readers. No. Not for another second.

I care for you all too much.

So here is my dose of the genius. Chug it down, people. It’s good for you.

Sorry guys, in all seriousness I haven’t been in good spirits lately. (I’m still going to the gym and of course am still sporting a 6 pack) but rest assured regular programming will return soon. If however coalition waltzes in again as leaders of this country I may never return and if I do, my posts will become decidedly EMO and melancholic. I will dress in black, put white paint on my face and call myself TYSMYA. I will mope around for the next three years in bitter frustration.

I don’t think there is any client/patient confidentiality in my profession (apart from information about the animal) and that post was particularly mean. While those conversations happened oooh about FIVE OR TEN years ago, I had no business posting them here.

I’ve gone back to an oldie but will be switching again once I find something that’s Widget-ready. I love me some Widgets.
