After reading Maliha’s EXCELLENT post Money Matters I’ve been inspired – much to husband’s utter disgust, we are now on a strict budget.
Him: “So what happens if we run out of stuff in the middle of the week?”
Her: “Well, we’ll just open up a can of something.”
Ok so now I’ve had to endure his smart-alecky comments the whole week:
“Oh look, we’re running out of toilet paper – we better just open up a can!”
“Hmmm looks like we need to open a can of envelopes.”
“.. can of milk”, ” .. can of bread”,
If he keeps this up any longer, I’m opening up a can of my own…..
