I have to make sure I get in as many post before my site goes down (again!). I’m not sure what’s happening with the server or whatever it is they call that thing that keeps the site up –you know what I mean. I thought about going straight to the helper people of the place where this site is hosted but I do believe I would be every ISP helpdesk person’s nightmare.
Husband worked at an ISP many years ago and he can attest – I do ALL those things that drive the helpdesk insane:
“It’s not working.”
“What’s not working.”
“The computer.”
“What’s it doing?”
“Nothing. I just clicked on that thing and nothing is happening.”
“What thing?”
*sigh*”Oh you know – the button for the internet?”
“Ok. So internet isn’t working?”
“No.”
“Do you get an error message?”
“I don’t know! It just isn’t working. Please just fix it.”
“I can’t fix it if I don’t know what the problem is.”
*sigh*”I just told you. The computer isn’t working!”
