There is just way too much happening here.

Eid will be celebrated tomorrow in this city (although I am sure there are others celebrating today.)

EID MUBARAK!

I have tons to do – the house is a complete mess. Luckily we will be the ones doing the visiting so nobody will actually come to our house but still! I hate living in a pig sty. Pigs are haraam!! I have a bit of baking to do but I do enjoy the baking. It’s always a tad harder with the children around though.

So much hoo-ha in the media about the Islamic College banning singing of the National Anthem. I have much to say on the matter but so little time. I will say this though – STORM IN A TEA CUP you fools!

With my new blog theme I am having awful trouble with my blogroll. I will have to start a new one entirely. I did some fancy schmancy thing using widgets but it’s all blown up in my face! If you are a regular reader here (which is about 5 of you) and have a blog you wish me to add to my blogroll please leave a comment or contact me via contacts page.

The rain here has become dare I say it I know we are in the midst of a 7 year drought and everything but please allow me this one rant AN ANNOYANCE. Brisbane, I don’t mind if you rain steadily, constantly and regularly. What I do mind is the way you just can’t seem to make up your mind. It’s cloudy but then you don’t rain! Or you don’t rain until such time as my clothes are NEARLY dry and then you rain on top them. Not much, mind you but just enough to allow them not to able to completely dry by sundown. So then I fret about leaving them outside all night or do i take them inside and use excessive amounts of electricity putting the load in the dryer or do I just leave them to hang inside the house in the hope they will dry by morning.

Yes, I am the most important person in the world and no I don’t really have much of a life. Why do you ask?
