Poorly Worded Sentence of the Week

This might be a regular given the calibre of news articles I read:

I am not going to discuss the topic here (plenty of bloggers out there are outraged, disgusted, shocked etc etc). I have made mistakes, silly ones at that. I am not going to judge these children or their parents. I pray my children don’t make the same silly mistakes I made and certainly not the mistake these children have made (not saying the baby was a “mistake”..just you know oh my god and I said I wasn’t going to say anything and now I can’t stop typing ok enough of that now)

From here:

Both boys and their parents have made sworn statements in front of a solicitor detailing their nights of sex with Chantelle.

(emphasis mine)
Honestly, the story is getting curiouser and curiouser!

Bushfires

I don’t think I will post much about the devastating bush fires in country Victoria. Tragedies like this and others of wars upset me very much. I dwell on the horror of it all. I wonder of people’s last minutes. Did they suffer? Was there pain? Did the endorphins kick in so they didn’t feel a thing? What about the children? Did people have a chance to say goodbye to their loved ones?

I did find this feel good story in the news online -

Mother saved by climbing under floorboards

and this story – I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. Moron.
